Rachel's ballet recital was last weekend! She got to get all gussied up in her pink costume--with tutu!--and dance with her classmates on a real stage in a packed auditorium. And she did great! There was even a part where she found herself holding hands with the wrong person (they'd gotten out of order during a chasse step) and had to rearrange the group a bit for the next step--and she did it with as much grace as a 4-year-old can muster. Very fun to watch. She did a few poses for us afterward. Here she is doing an "echappe"--you can see that she's saying the name of the step as she does it...

And with that, she is DONE with ballet for a while! Latest interests: swimming and soccer! She's in swim lessons now and loves them. And she really enjoys kicking a ball around the back yard with Daddy-o.
