Holy snowpants!

Well, we are but wee next to the forces of nature, folks, but we've been having a terrific time with all of this week's SNOW! Nathan has been stuck inside with a nasty cold, but Rachel and I have been making the most of his naptimes with lots of shoveling (and shoveling, and shoveling, and...) and playing!

David headed out super-early (before the plows got here!) to work the phones and tell people to cool their heels and stay home, rather than waiting for trains that weren't coming for a while.


After I shoveled around the back porch, Rachel and I thought this was a pretty impressive pile of snow...

...until today, when we found this one where David had shoveled out the car!


I thought it was cool that our snowman (from a couple of snows ago) had a moat, thanks to the amazing drifting winds!
