We have a songstress on our hands here. Yesterday, Rachel sang "O to the truck" upon seeing a moving truck being loaded. Here are the lyrics:

The melody is just about what you'd expect--not much.
Today, Rachel was exploring our closet and playing with some hangers. When David asked her to put the hangers away, she replied, "After I get the movie tickets out of them," as though that were the most natural response in the world. Then she announced that she was going to make up a song about "Does anyone want a hanger?" Here are the lyrics:

The melody was about the same. Rachel's songwriting is almost a daily event around here, and it's always sweetly amusing.
