Big boy bed

I know I told you Nathan was sleeping in a big-boy bed weeks ago, but...well, we were just saying that because he was out of the crib. It was a crib mattress on the floor--and, to be honest, he spent as many nights directly on the floor as he did on the mattress. But today, oh day of days! Today a REAL big-boy bed came to our house--on a truck, no less! And it has sheets and everything! And Nathan is actually taking a nap in it right now, bless his tired little soul, which is why you get to hear about it.

I showed him all sorts of sheets to choose from, and he said, "I want sheets with stripes." Once I figured out that he was not saying "trikes," we were all set. Striped sheets it is for our sweet boy. He is very proud of himself and his big bed, wouldn't you say?
