Outdoors
Guess what we did today? We ate lunch. Outside. With our jackets off! Ah, yes, life is good. We love spring. And this lunch was particularly fun, because leprechauns came last night and turned our milk green! Those silly leprechauns! We've been loving our time outside (and savoring it, knowing that snow is predicted for this weekend--argh!). Nathan is learning that walking on sidewalks is not quite like walking on hardwood floors. Similarly, falling on sidewalks is somewhat different. (I'd advise any of you with some money to invest to sink it into band-aid stock. Soon, like before he starts wearing shorts.) He has quickly become a master of the scooter and can almost keep up with Rachel on her trike. We've had some pretty cool adventures sans stroller lately--mostly toodling around the block looking for spring flowers. We've also been to the park a couple of times. Nathan had forgotten his love for the park, but he quickly re-embraced swing and slide alike. Sandbox presents some special peril to the new walker, so he's still hesitant to jump in there, but that will come in good time. Here are my little leprechauns (not the ones who turned the milk green, just the ones who do the rest of the mischief around here). Nathan wore green and orange today.
And I'm not sure when Rachel got this old, but suddenly she looks way-far removed from babyhood to me.
