Boo!

Rachel totally got into Halloween this year, much to our surprise. She woke up from her nap, put on her giant Elmo costume (Shout-out to our neighbor, Mia, who passed it along to us! It was absolutely perfect!), handed out candy from the door like she'd been doing it for a million years, and then went trick-or-treating with gusto. She asked to go back out three times and ended up covering three whole blocks! She marched up those porch steps, said "Trick or treat" loudly and clearly, peered into her severed-head Elmo basket (There was something a little Muppets-meets-Sleepy-Hollow in the way she carried an Elmo-head basket and mostly refused to wear the Elmo hood. Way to bring a little more traditional Halloween gore to the Elmo costume, Rachel!) and then said "Thank you!" at every single house. It was lots of fun to see.
